Price & Lead Time:
All rugs can take up to 5 - 8 weeks to make, as each unique piece is hand-crafted from conception to completion.
As the rugs are one-off pieces, varying in size, colour and textural effects, prices will also vary. Each bespoke rug is made to order with a full price quoted to the customer once the design is finalised.
Claire has built up an exciting working relationship with William Brinton Ltd, who produce and finish her rugs to the highest quality. They are hand tufted for ultimate definition in detail. Claire’s collection of rugs are produced by Brintons in Hong Kong by mature craftsmen in an ethically sound environment.
Cleaning and Care:
Rugs should be specialist cleaned, or spot cleaning with tepid water and wool soap. Oil stains should be removed with a spirit based solvent.

Customising:
Each rug is designed individually so that any size can be ordered. All Claire’s rhythmical patterns are non -repeating.
Colour is also limitless. You may choose from a range of designs from Claire J Alderdice bespoke collection, or you can develop an idea together, incorporating colours, textures, sculptural effects & pattern to suit your individual tastes.
It is a passion of Claire’s to create unique, quirky products that are loved like a precious piece of artwork, yet remain entirely functional. She believes that Art should be accessible to everyone and enjoyed everyday.
